Ruth Rancy has a diverse work experience in both government and public service sectors. Ruth has held various leadership roles in Health Canada, serving as the Director General of Policy and Operations and the Director General of the Medical Devices and Clinical Compliance Directorate. Prior to that, they worked at the Canada Revenue Agency as the Director of Integrity and Well-Being. In addition, they have experience in Public Services and Procurement Canada, where they served as the Acting Director General of Human Resources and the Director of Occupational Health and Safety. Ruth also acted as the Director of the Medical Devices Compliance Program at Health Canada. Overall, Ruth Rancy has demonstrated expertise in policy, operations, medical devices, compliance, integrity, well-being, and occupational health and safety throughout their career.
Ruth Rancy completed their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 1994 at McGill University. Ruth then pursued a Master of Applied Science in Occupational Health at the same institution, graduating in 1996.
