Véronique Joncas

Véronique Joncas, MSc, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy analysis and program management within the health and mental health sectors. Currently serving as a Policy Analyst on the Opioid Response Team at Health Canada since November 2023, Véronique has also held leadership positions as Chair, Vice Chair, and Board Member at Upstream Ottawa since January 2019. Previously, a Senior Program Manager at the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Véronique's earlier roles included Event Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at QED Brussels and Intern at RADDHO in Senegal. An accomplished educator, Véronique holds a Master's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Ottawa. Additionally, Véronique is a certified Yoga Teacher.
