Head Wellness Coordinator - Exercise Physiologist at Health Care Access

Nikki Ingersoll has extensive experience in the field of health and wellness. In 2014, they began working at Health Care Access as the Head Wellness Coordinator and Exercise Physiologist. Nikki was responsible for organizing and evaluating community health and wellness education classes, programs, events, and resources. Additionally, they provided safe and effective exercise prescriptions to clients and patients. In the same year, they also worked as a Fitness & Wellness Advisor Intern at the same company.

Beginning in 2013, Nikki worked as a Group Fitness Trainer at TITLE Boxing Club, where they trained clients in a power hour workout on heavy bags.

From 2014 to 2015, Nikki worked at Lionheart Athletic Performance & Fitness, first as a Personal Trainer and later as a Personal Trainer & Wellness Coach. Nikki utilized their skills in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology to perform fitness and wellness assessments, provide nutrition analysis, and create personalized fitness and sport programs. Additionally, they worked as a Sport & Fitness Trainer, Nutrition & Wellness Coach, and Group Fitness Boot Camp Trainer, leading boot camp and circuit training sessions for groups of 3-18 clients.

Overall, Nikki has a strong background in exercise prescription, fitness instruction, and wellness coaching.

Nikki Ingersoll completed their Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from Washburn University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Paola High School from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Nikki has obtained several certifications. These include Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Beginner (Estimated) from Duolingo in January 2016, ACLS from the ACLS Certification Institute in June 2015, and CPR, AED, FIRST AIDE from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
