Health Care for the Homeless
Lilian Amaya is an experienced health care professional with a strong background in community health and outreach. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Community Health & Outreach at Health Care for the Homeless since October 2017, Lilian has also held positions such as Lead Community Health Worker. Prior experience includes roles at House of Ruth Maryland from February 2013 to October 2017, where responsibilities included Lead Service Coordinator and Bilingual Service Coordinator. Earlier positions include Residential Representative at YWCA of Greater Harrisburg and Resource Coordinator at Way Station, Inc. Lilian earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from the Community College of Baltimore County, completing the program in May 2023.
