In addition to seeing children and adolescents out of the Brattleboro office, Paul supervises the Medical Division, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and medical assistants. After working in medical research for nearly a decade, Paul entered medical school, deciding on a specialty of child and adolescent psychiatry. Encouraged by the University of Washington's focus on care in rural and underserved communities, Paul returned to his native New England. Initially working at the Brattleboro Retreat, Paul transitioned to HCRS in 2013, and soon after was promoted to Medical Director. Paul is a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and in May 2015 was made a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
