Mbakwa Veronica

MBAKWA Veronica, MD, is a medical professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in sexual health and education. As the Founder of Sexual Health Companion since June 2023, MBAKWA leads initiatives focused on sexual health education. In addition to this role, MBAKWA serves as a Medical Doctor at the Health Education and Research Organisation (HERO) Cameroon since June 2018, and as a Regional Panelist for Africa at Women Win since December 2022, where applications for the Free Stem Fund are reviewed. As a facilitator for UN Women’s Innovation Mastermind on Gender Equality since March 2020 and an Emerging Leader with TechWomen since 2021, MBAKWA is actively involved in promoting gender equality. Furthermore, MBAKWA has been recognized as a Young Leader with Women Deliver since 2020. MBAKWA holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences University of Buea, completed in 2018, and attended Saker Baptist College from 2004 to 2011.
