Tim Powell is an experienced physiotherapist with a diverse background in clinical practice and research. Currently serving as a Clinical Consultant at South West Academic Health Science Network since September 2018, Tim provides clinical lead support for the implementation of ESCAPE-PAIN. Tim is also an Advanced Practice Orthopaedic Physiotherapist at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, where responsibilities include managing knee injuries and conditions in elective and acute care settings. As the owner of Tim Powell Sports Physiotherapy, a private practice established in 2014, Tim offers specialized physiotherapy to athletes competing at various levels, from recreational to Olympic. Previous roles include Orthopaedic Specialist Chartered Physiotherapist at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and Physiotherapist for the English Institute of Sport, among others. Tim holds a Master's degree in Clinical Research from the University of Plymouth and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine from Cardiff Metropolitan University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from King's College London.
