Leah Porter

Leah Porter currently serves as Supervising Attorney at Health Law Advocates, Inc. since May 2023, having previously held the position of Staff Attorney. Before this role, Leah was a Medical Legal Partnership Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital from August 2020 to May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney and AmeriCorps Attorney at MetroWest Legal Services from September 2016 to August 2020, as well as an AmeriCorps Attorney at Community Legal Aid from September 2015 to July 2016. Leah started their career with internships at Massachusetts Advocates for Children, U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights, and several other organizations, all while obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Northeastern University School of Law (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Political Science from Syracuse University (2008-2012).
