Lucy Ellis is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in child and mental health advocacy. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney and Training Coordinator for the Mental Health Advocacy Program for Kids at Health Law Advocates, Inc., Lucy has also held positions as a Staff Attorney at the American Bar Association Center on Children and the Law and the Children's Law Center of Massachusetts. Additional experience includes legal internships at the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association, the Rian Immigrant Center, and various roles within children's rights organizations. Lucy earned a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in History from Northeastern University.

HLA is committed to ensuring universal access to quality health care in Massachusetts, particularly for those who are most at risk due to such factors as race, gender, disability, age, or geographic location. With its parent organization, Health Care For All, HLA combines legal expertise with grassroots organizing and policy reform to advance the statewide movement for universal health care access.
