Erik Clemons

Erik Clemons brings an extensive background in inclusive non-profit management and organizational leadership, as well as invaluable expertise on building and supporting healthy communities, to Health Leads’ evolving strategy.

As CEO and President of the Connecticut Center for Arts and Technology (ConnCAT), a non-profit organization based on the model of Bill Strickland’s National Center for Arts and Technology, Erik leads the organization’s strategy to create arts-based educational environments for at-risk public-school students and market-relevant career training programs for under and unemployed adults.

Prior to joining ConnCAT, Erik was executive director of Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP), an academic and social enrichment program for children and youth in New Haven, dedicated to developing the strengths and talents of young leaders.
