Vk Vighnes

VK Vighnes has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. VK has held various roles in different companies. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Technician at Communication Satellite Services. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Packet One Networks (P1) Sdn Bhd, where they served as a Sr. Transmission Engineer and Network Upgrading Engineer. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at AT&T for Shell IT services as a Call-Out Migration Manager. In 2013, they joined RSDH (M) formerly known as Sime Darby Healthcare as an Infrastructure & Datacentre Services Assistant Manager. In 2017, they joined Dimension Data as a Technical Account Manager. Since 2018, they have been working at HMI Group, initially as a Senior Manager and currently as the Vice President of ICT Governance - Infrastructures, PMO & Cyber Security.

VK Vighnes has a BSc (eng) degree in Computer System Engineering (Networking) from Nottingham Trent University, obtained in 2007. In 2011, Vighnes obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute. Vighnes also has various certifications in networking, including CCNP and CCNA from Cisco, obtained in 2010, and Networking Design and Installation AMP NETCONNECT (ND&I) [ND3800] from AMP NETCONNECT, obtained in 2016. Additionally, Vighnes has certifications in IT service management, such as an ITIL v3 2011 Foundation certification obtained in 2017. Vighnes is also trained in Agile Scrum, having obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.Org in 2017. Other certifications include being a Certified Data Center Professional from EPI, obtained in 2016, and a VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization Delta Exam from VMware. Lastly, Vighnes has obtained certifications in information security, including a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)², which is ongoing from 2017 to 2023, and a Professional Certification from ISACA as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 2019.
