Mark England has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors. Their most recent role is as an NHS Innovation Accelerator Fellow at the NHS Innovation Accelerator, where they work with NHS England and Academic Health Science Networks to facilitate the adoption of impactful innovations in the healthcare system. Prior to this, Mark was the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at HN, a healthcare company delivering AI-guided solutions to the NHS. Mark also served as the Deputy National Director for Urgent and Emergency Care at NHS England and NHS Improvement. Mark's earlier experiences include roles as a Managing Director at BLMK Integrated Care System, Executive Director of Reengineering and Informatics at Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS FT, and Information Systems and Performance Manager at the London Borough of Croydon. Mark also has international experience as a Project Manager and Lead Web Developer/Architect at the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Before transitioning to the healthcare sector, Mark had a successful career in education as a Head of IT and Head of Geography.

Mark England began their education in 1988 at SOAS University of London, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree. The field of study for this degree is not specified. Mark then attended the University of Exeter from 1994 to 1995, completing a PGCE in Geography with English. Mark's education continued at The Open University, where they obtained a PG Dip in Computing for Commerce and Industry from 2001 to 2005. Finally, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from The Open University, graduating in 2009.
