Richard Swift

Richard Swift has over 20 years of experience in executive roles in the healthcare industry. Richard is currently serving as the President and CEO of Health New England since October 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer at Health New England from April 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining Health New England, Richard served as the President of Medwise Partners, Inc since December 1996. Richard also held various interim executive positions, including Interim Chief Financial Officer at Fluent Health from April 2019 to March 2020, Interim CFO at Health Alliance Plan from January 2017 to March 2019, and Interim CFO at Memorial Hermann Health Plan from 2016 to 2016.

Additionally, Richard has experience as an Interim CEO at Memorial Hermann Health Plan in 2015 and as an Interim CFO at Freelancers Insurance Company from 2010 to 2014. Richard also held executive positions at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Dean Health Plan, Inc., and Scott & White Health Plan as an Interim CFO.

Richard Swift has a Bachelor of Science degree from Mercer University. Richard also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health Care Administration at the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
