Maeve Hume-Nixon

Maeve Hume-Nixon is a highly skilled Public Health Physician and Public Health Registrar currently working at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora since October 2023. With a robust background in public health and research, Maeve serves as a Senior Study Coordinator and PhD Candidate at Murdoch Childrens Research Institute while also contributing to the World Health Organization as a Research Officer on an Acute Respiratory Infection project. Previous roles include significant contributions to New Zealand's Ministry of Health in developing the country's first women’s health strategy and leading efforts in polio preparedness.
