Adam Morgan

Adam Morgan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Adam is currently serving as the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer at Velan Capital since July 2020. Prior to this, they held positions at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. as Chairman of the Board and Director, starting in February 2023. Adam also worked as a Director at Alimera Sciences from March 2023. Adam served as a Director at Health Outlook Corp. starting from June 2022. Adam also worked as an Analyst at Broadfin Capital LLC from February 2018 to June 2020. Before that, they were a Senior Analyst at Iguana Healthcare Partners, LP from December 2015 to January 2018. Adam Morgan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2002. Adam then pursued further education and obtained an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between 2006 and 2008.
