Mike Shook

Mike Shook, RN, has an extensive work experience in healthcare management and quality improvement roles. Mike has held positions such as Director of Care and Utilization Management at Health Plan of San Joaquin, Director of Utilization Management at CalOptima, Director of Utilization Management and Quality at Monarch HealthCare, and Director of Quality Improvement at LA Care health plan. Mike has also worked in various management roles at Healthfirst, Blue Shield of California, Kaiser Permanente, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in compliance, strategy development, quality improvement, and patient care.

Mike Shook, RN, completed an Associate of Science degree in Nursing at CCAC South Campus from 1988 to 1990. Mike then pursued an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Management at Santa Barbara City College from 2004 to 2007. Most recently, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from PennWest California from 2020 to 2023.
