Miriam Sheinbein M.D., Ibclc

Miriam Sheinbein, MD, IBCLC has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Miriam currently serves as the Medical Director at Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) since December 2021. Miriam has also worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF/SFGH Department of Family and Community Medicine since July 2011. Miriam Sheinbein, MD, IBCLC, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University from 1998 to 2002. Miriam then pursued their medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine degree from 2004 to 2008.

Following their medical degree, Dr. Sheinbein completed their residency training in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco from 2008 to 2011.
