Daisy P. Ortega

Daisy P. Ortega is a seasoned professional in capacity building and training, currently serving as the Managing Director of Capacity Building Assistance at Health Resources in Action (HRiA) since May 2008, holding various roles including Director and Senior Training Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Community Organizer at Sociedad Latina from July 2006 to May 2008, where Daisy led youth-driven campaigns for social justice and environmental advocacy, and as a Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools from June 2004 to August 2006, providing academic support and mentorship. Daisy holds a Master's degree in Education from Lesley University and Bachelor's degrees in Political Science from the University of Fort Hare and in Social Thought & Political Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
