Kelly Danckert, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kelly began their career in 2014 as a Legislative Intern at the Office of US Senator Edward Markey, where they conducted research, assisted with policy drafts, and managed social media platforms. In 2014, they also worked as a Living Arts Co-Op at The Boston Globe.

In 2016, Kelly joined Health Resources in Action, starting as an Events and Communications Coordinator. In this role, they assisted with planning and coordinating webinars and trainings, created professional documents and material for social media and web, and copyedited grant proposals. Kelly then transitioned to the role of Training Associate, where they co-designed, developed, implemented, managed, and evaluated the Opioid Overdose Prevention Training Project. Kelly also researched and developed new training curricula with a racial equity lens and managed small client projects.

During their time at Health Resources in Action, Kelly also served as a Program Manager, managing communication between funders, partners, and staff of three projects. Their responsibilities included overseeing project participation, managing budgets, and creating client deliverables.

From 2013 to 2016, Kelly worked at UMass Boston in two roles. As the Building and Events Manager, they managed events and facilities on campus. Additionally, they served as the Managing Editor for Writ Large Magazine during this time. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Program Assistant at PbS Learning Institute.

Kelly Danckert holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree.

Kelly Danckert, MPH has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Boston University School of Public Health. Kelly specialized in the field of Health Communication and Promotion during their studies from 2018 to 2021.

Prior to their MPH degree, Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from UMass Boston, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. Their concentration during their undergraduate studies was Professional Writing within the English field of study.
