Kimberley Zwiers

Kimberley Zwiers is a seasoned professional with a strong background in life sciences and research management. Currently serving as Team Lead and Program Manager for Data-Driven Life Sciences at HEALTH-RI since August 2022, Kimberley focuses on building integrated health research data infrastructures for diverse stakeholders. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at Leiden University, where Kimberley conducted biochemical research to enhance diagnoses and develop therapies for lysosomal storage diseases. Additional roles encompass a range of leadership and consultancy positions, including the Leiden Leadership Programme and as a student consultant for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. Kimberley's educational credentials include a Master of Science from Leiden University and a Bachelor of Science from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University.
