Anita Mamone, JD, RN, CLNC has a diverse work experience in both legal and nursing fields. Anita is currently serving as the Chief Legal & Governance Officer at Health Services Management since January 2023, where they previously held the role of Associate General Counsel from July 2021 to January 2023.
Before joining Health Services Management, Anita worked as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant as an Entrepreneur since April 2013. Additionally, they served as the Director of Account Management and Litigation Manager at Hamlin & Burton Liability Management, Inc. from May 2020 to July 2021, after initially joining as a Litigation Manager in September 2018.
Anita also worked at Health Care Navigator from February 2016 to August 2018 as a Staff Attorney and Legal Nurse Consultant. Prior to that, they were a Registered Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant at MedView Services from September 2013 to December 2016.
Anita'slegal nursing experience also includes serving as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant at Harmon, Woods, Parker, Hendricks & Abrunzo, P.A. from August 2013 to February 2016.
Anita began their career in the nursing field as a Registered Nurse at Parallon from March 2012 to February 2016. Anita then transitioned to the legal field, working as an Attorney at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 1st Region from October 2009 to August 2011.
Overall, Anita Mamone has extensive experience in legal and nursing roles, with a particular focus on legal nursing consulting and healthcare management.
Anita Mamone, JD, RN, CLNC, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Florida State University in 2005. Subsequently, they pursued their legal education at Barry University's Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree between 2005 and 2008. To further expand their career, Anita Mamone acquired a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of South Florida during the period of 2010 to 2011.
