Chris Fowler

Chris Fowler currently serves as Chief Operating Officer Legal, Governance & Corporate Affairs at Rio Tinto and holds a position on the Council Audit and Risk Assurance Committee at The University of Sheffield. With extensive experience in legal and regulatory roles, Chris previously worked at BT where responsibilities included General Counsel for the Technology division and Chief Operating Officer for BT Legal, Governance and Compliance. Chris has a track record of leading large legal teams, transforming operational models, and managing significant corporate transactions. Additional roles include Directorship at Mobile Broadband Network Ltd and Non-Executive Director at BPS Assessment. Chris holds a Bar Finals degree from the Inns of Court School of Law and a law degree from The University of Huddersfield.
