Shaina Mitchell

Shaina Mitchell, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Senior Program Analyst at Independence Blue Cross since June 2023 and has been an Online Community Moderator and Contributor for HIV.net with Health Union, LLC since June 2020. Previously, Shaina worked at Aetna as a Student Health Account Representative from March 2019 to May 2023 and held the position of Senior Program Coordinator at Drexel University from January 2017 to March 2019. Additional experience includes roles as a Public Health Educator at the University of Pennsylvania, Assistant Supervisor of Prevention Services at Bebashi - Transition to Hope, and as a Prevention Specialist/Counselor. Shaina's foundational experience includes an internship at Drexel University Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine, focusing on health education for HIV positive clients. Shaina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology Human Biology from Temple University and a Master of Public Health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
