Rachel Mackellar

Chief Medical Officer at Healthcare Australia

Rachel is the Chief Medical Officer for Healthcare Australia. She qualified with her degree in medicine and surgery, and an intercalated honours degree in parasitology in 2005.

She holds Fellowships with RACGP, is a member of the UK RACGP, Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine and holds additional Diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology.

She is due to complete her Masters in Aerospace Medicine later this year. Since moving to Australia in 2012 she has worked as a Deputy Medical Director at International SOS specialising in international medical evacuations and repatriations, a Senior Medical Officer at Virgin Australia and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
