Melissa Danielson Rhit

Melissa Danielson, RHIT, currently serves as the Assistant Coding Operations Manager at HCCS - Healthcare Coding & Consulting Services since January 2018. With previous experience as an ED coder at HCCS, and as a Billing Specialist at both LAKEVIEW INTERNAL MEDICINE, LLC and Proper Medical Billing, Melissa has developed expertise in coding and billing for various medical services, handling appeals and insurance denials, and managing accounts receivable. Past roles also include Medical Coder at Reimbursement Technologies and MRMC, and leading the ROI/ED Medical Record team at Munroe Regional Medical Center. Melissa is pursuing further education at Drexel University, following an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Technology from the College of Central Florida.
