Chuck Dunn

Chuck Dunn has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

Chuck currently serves as a Lead Software Engineer at Healthcare Finance Direct, where they have re-established the payments processing team, developed a roadmap for the team, integrated payment gateways, and coached the team on improved programming practices.

Prior to this, Chuck worked as a Programmer Lead at Progressive Insurance, where they provided technical leadership and helped rewrite legacy claim management systems. Chuck implemented design review processes, provided coaching and training, and promoted good programming practices and SOLID design principles.

Before joining Progressive Insurance, Chuck held multiple roles at CGB Enterprises, Inc. Chuck served as a Lead Developer, leading the development and design of applications for the crop insurance industry. Chuck also served as a Division Architect, providing technical leadership during major acquisitions and system rewrites.

Chuck also gained experience at Charter Communications as a Program Manager and at Jobson Healthcare Information (WebMD) as a Director of Application Development. In these roles, they led development projects, designed and built applications, and implemented innovative solutions.

Earlier in their career, Chuck founded their own web development company, WebPursuits, Inc., and worked as an eCommerce Developer at Whittman-Hart/marchFIRST. Chuck also served as the Director of Operations - Internet/Intranet Services at ITS, where they developed and led an internet division and implemented a hosting service.

Throughout their career, Chuck has demonstrated strong technical leadership, skills in software development, application design, and project management. Chuck has a proven track record of implementing improvements, mentoring and coaching teams, and delivering successful projects.

Chuck Dunn attended Casper College from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained an Associates degree in Business Administration.
