Andy Wuertele is the Chief Executive Officer at East River Medical Imaging, PC, and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He joined East River Imaging as COO in 2005 and led expansion into new locations, services, and partnerships. Andy began his career at GE Healthcare in a progression of roles, including forming technology and capital collaborations with hospital systems and physician groups across NYC and Long Island. Andy earned undergraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Health Management and Policy from The New School.
Mr. Wuertele has served as a Director and Officer for several not-for-profit organizations. He was Board Chair and is Treasurer for The Icla da Silva Foundation, supporting patients and families seeking treatment for leukemia and other blood diseases, with an emphasis on breaking down ethnic, racial and economic barriers to care. He is a director of the Midtown Arts Common and treasurer for NYC municipal campaigns. After growing up in the midwest, Andy is thrilled about (and often humbled by) raising two sons in New York alongside his wife Jessica.
Andy has been an active HLNY volunteer since 2014 and is a former Treasurer, Vice President and President-Elect. He is fortunate to work with and support the talented HLNY board and committee volunteers who deliver value to ACHE members in the New York City, Long Island and Westchester communities.
