Emma Smart

Emma Smart has a diverse background in research and engineering, currently serving as a Research and Administrative Assistant at Healthcare Systems R&A Inc. since September 2021, where notable contributions include the development of a Mobile Health Application. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Tutor at Memorial University, Lead Remote Learning Instructor for STEM programs, and multiple co-op positions at the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board, where skills in technical writing, project management, and audits were honed. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering from Memorial University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Western University. Educational accomplishments also include an International French Immersion Certificate and a High School Diploma.
