Fred Stratmann JD, CHC has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry and legal field. Fred currently serves as the Vice President & General Counsel at HealthDrive Corporation, a national healthcare services company. Previously, they held the position of General Counsel & VP of Compliance at Granite Recovery Centers, where they oversaw substance abuse treatment programs. Prior to that, Fred worked as the General Counsel at CommuniCare Health Services, a prominent provider of post-acute healthcare services. Fred also served as the Chief Legal Counsel at the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, where they developed compliance programs and advocated for the expansion of Veterans Treatment Courts. Fred has experience in managing state nursing homes as the Interim Superintendent at the Ohio Veterans Home. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Attorney at various law firms, specializing in collections/creditors' rights and real estate. Fred also held positions in media relations and communications at government agencies such as the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Ohio Bicentennial Commission.
