Jen Gong

Jen Gong is a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at HealthEdge since June 2025, with prior roles as Lead Staff Data Scientist and Lead Data Scientist at Health at Scale from September 2021 to May 2025. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for Clinical Informatics and Improvement Research (CLIIR), UCSF from July 2019 to July 2021, and at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from July 2018 to June 2019. Jen Gong completed a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2014 to 2018 and holds both an M.S. and a B.A. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, respectively. Early experiences include internships at Grand Rounds Health and Google, as well as research assistant roles at the Neuroscience Statistics Research Laboratory at MIT and the Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School.
