Kurt Dreystadt

Kurt Dreystadt has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kurt is currently the Director of Sales Solutions at HealthEdge, a role they started in September 2022. Before that, they worked at HealthEdge as a Services Consultant Director & Consultant from November 2019 to September 2022 and as a Services Consultant Manager & Consultant from February 2015 to November 2019. In these positions, Kurt acted as a customer advocate, working closely with stakeholders and successfully deploying enterprise-class software products in the healthcare space. Kurt also served as a trainer and managed a team of consultants.

Prior to their time at HealthEdge, Kurt worked as a Product Manager from December 2012 to February 2015, where they collaborated with the services team and external customers to develop solutions in the healthcare market. Before that, they held various roles at HealthEdge, including Business Consultant, Senior Professional Services Consultant, and Principal Consultant, from September 2007 to December 2012. In these positions, Kurt interacted with prospects and customers, scoping and delivering implementation, training, and consulting services.

Outside of HealthEdge, Kurt has experience at other healthcare organizations. Kurt worked at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as a Provider eBusiness Specialist from August 2006 to September 2007, where they maintained communication with customers and implemented workflows and procedures. Prior to that, they worked at athenahealth as an Account Services Manager & Claims Manager from February 2005 to September 2006, where they independently identified client performance trends and communicated with clients on various issues.

In addition, Kurt has experience in sales, having worked as a Sales Associate at BRG Home Improvement from January 2004 to January 2006. Kurt also has a background in provider relations, claims management, enrollment, and customer service, gained during their time at ValueOptions as a Provider Relations Manager, Claims Manager, Enrollment Manager, and Customer Service Manager from January 1997 to January 2005. Kurt started their career at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where they held the role of Provider Enrollment Administrator, Credentialing, QA, and CS from June 1994 to January 1997.

Kurt Dreystadt attended Oliver Ames High School from 1987 to 1989. Kurt then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Insurance at the University of Hartford from 1989 to 1994.
