Ms. Kennedy has over 25 years of experience with many facets of medical and benefits claims management. In her more than 10 years with Healthesystems, she has been instrumental in shaping both pharmacy and ancillary benefits management programs. In her current role, she guides the service delivery, innovation and growth of the company’s ancillary benefits management (ABM) business solution.

Ms. Kennedy has been instrumental in establishing policies and infrastructure that have guided Healthesystems while effectively supporting the rapid growth experienced by the company. She has played a crucial role in building and supporting the infrastructure for all customer service center and claims adjudication services, and in making the company a true self-servicing organization. In addition, her guidance on corporate development projects helped make Healthesystems one of the first PBMs to streamline workflow using advanced technology web tools.

Ms. Kennedy brings extensive workers’ compensation experience to the table and was a former co-chair of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs’ (NCPDP) Property and Casualty/Workers’ Compensation Work Group (WG16).

Ms. Kennedy began her career in the health care industry as a medical claims processor and gained varied expertise in customer service training, medical bill review, managed care coordination and managing vendor relations – for both group health and workers’ compensation insurance carriers. This broad experience on the payer side of the industry affords her first-hand knowledge and keen perspective that allows her to understand and respond to the unique and complex issues of pharmacy and ancillary benefits management.
