James Chou

James Chou has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position is at Healthie, where they have been the Engineering Team Lead since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Developer at Healthie from November 2018 to May 2023.

Before joining Healthie, James was the EHR Coordinator at Odyssey House from June 2016 to November 2018. James also worked as a Web Developer at The Difference Engine, a web development agency, from April 2017 to September 2017. During their time at The Difference Engine, James contributed to the development of an updated website for the International Montessori Training Institute.

James began their career as a Business Analyst at SynaMed from July 2015 to June 2016. James also has experience as a Volunteer at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from June 2013 to August 2014 and as a Student Assistant at Stony Brook University from August 2013 to May 2014.

James Chou attended Actualize Coding Bootcamp from 2016 to 2017, where they pursued coding education. Prior to that, they studied at Stony Brook University from 2011 to 2015. At Stony Brook University, James obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician. James also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
