Tonya Johnston

Tonya Johnston has extensive experience in the field of human resources and law. Tonya is currently working as the Human Resources Director at HealthLynked since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Consultant in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, Tonya worked as the Human Resources Director at Musca Law. Before that, they were a Human Resources Director at ProMedica from 2019 to 2021. Tonya founded Human Resource Law Consultants, LLC in 2007 and served as the Executive Director until 2019. Tonya also worked at Dine Brands Global as Senior Counsel - Employment & Litigation from 2009 to 2011. Tonya has extensive experience in in-house counsel roles, including serving as Senior Counsel at Sprint from 1995 to 2007. Tonya began their career as an Associate at Lathrop & Gage LLP from 1990 to 1995.

Tonya Johnston obtained a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Kansas School of Law from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at The University of Kansas from 1985 to 1987. Tonya attended Colorado State University Pueblo from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Political Science and Communications, but did not earn a degree from there.
