Dave Searle

Dave Searle has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dave currently works at Healthmonix as an Application Security Engineer since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Navitaire, an Amadeus company, where they held the position of Application Security Architect from October 2017 until June 2022. In this role, their responsibilities included managing and maintaining the Security Development Lifecycle, conducting security risk reviews, and providing application security training. Before becoming an Application Security Architect, Dave worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Navitaire from October 2005 to October 2017, where they managed and mentored a team responsible for airline schedules and fares.

Before joining Navitaire, Dave worked at Mountain America Credit Union, starting as a Network Engineer from September 1999 to September 2000, where they were promoted from PC Support Specialist to Network Administrator. In this role, they completed network infrastructure deployments and initiated migration projects. Later, they became a Senior Programmer from September 2000 to October 2005, where they were involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle and created efficient solutions for IT helpdesk requests.

Dave Searle completed their education at Western Governors University. From 2005 to 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a specialization in Software Development. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Information Security & Assurance degree at the same university. In addition to their academic achievements, Dave Searle earned several certifications, including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)², Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator from EC Council, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², GIAC Certified ISO 27000 Specialist from GIAC, and Network+ from CompTia.
