Yves Faustin Nahimana

Yves Faustin Nahimana is a Program Officer and Country Director A.i at HealthNet TPO since March 2022, and serves as Region Specialist for Africa in a volunteer capacity at Het Actiefonds since October 2021. Previously, Yves held the role of Intern/Project Assistant at Free Press Unlimited from August 2021 to March 2022, and completed an internship at The Clingendael Institute from August 2019 to February 2020, where key responsibilities included conducting research on conflict dynamics in the Sahel Region and contributing to publication efforts. A past Project Manager for Early Warning Early Response at Justice and Peace Burundi from September 2014 to March 2016, Yves managed a project aimed at monitoring human rights violations during the 2015 electoral period. Yves holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from Utrecht University and a Licence in Political Science from Université Lumière de Bujumbura.
