Vincent Ackerman

Vincent Ackerman began their work experience in 2010 at HealthONE as a Certified Surgical Technologist, where they gained expertise in various areas such as Orthopedic, Podiatry, Neuro/Spine, and more. Vincent efficiently prepared sterile instrument tables, maintained a sterile field during surgeries, and assisted surgeons during operations. Vincent worked at HealthONE until September 2016, when they took on the role of Orthopedic/Podiatry Lead Surgical Technician. Presently, they are a Cyber Security Student at the University of Colorado Boulder, starting in November 2022.

Vincent Ackerman obtained a Certificate in Cyber Security from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023. In 1996-1997, they completed the Surgical Technologist Training Program in the United States Army. Additionally, they hold several certifications in various areas of cybersecurity, such as DFIR & Threat Hunting, Game Theory Strategy in Cybersecurity, Linux Security, Offensive Security: Ethical Hacking, Cybersecurity Infrastructure & Technology, Network Security, Cloud Security, Computer Networking, and Microsoft Security Fundamentals, all obtained from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2023. Vincent also holds certifications in Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider from the American Red Cross, obtained in May 2020, and as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from The National Board of Surgical Technology and surgical assisting, obtained in January 2000.
