Steve Flammini is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in the I.S. organization at Mass General Brigham. In this role he oversees activities in technology strategy, design, architecture, development, and integration. He serves as a technology adviser to the leadership on topics including digital health, innovation, platform strategy, interoperability, and many other areas of emerging technology in healthcare. He specializes in the design and development of high performance, high-scale enterprise systems.
He served as Director of Application Development at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and later Partners Healthcare, where he led the technical delivery of advanced clinical systems, and novel application architectures.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bridgewater State University in 1986. He enjoys teaching and has served on the adjunct faculty in the graduate programs in Health Informatics at Northeastern University and University of Alabama, Birmingham.
