Peter Beerman

Peter Beerman has a strong background in sales and client services across various healthcare and insurance companies. Peter is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Sales and Client Services at HealthSmart since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales at HealthSmart from June 2017 to April 2021. Before joining HealthSmart, Peter worked at OptumRx, where they held the role of Area Vice President, Sales, Labor and Trust from January 2011 to June 2017, and Vice President, Labor and Trust from October 2006 to January 2011. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior Sales Executive at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ from January 2002 to October 2006, and at Great-West Life from February 1992 to November 2001. Peter began their professional journey at Prudential Insurance, where they worked as an Associate Group Manager from July 1987 to February 1992.

Peter Beerman completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University, studying from 1983 to 1987.
