Mark-Anthony Bailey has a diverse work history in the wellness industry spanning over 20 years. Mark-Anthony started their career as a Strength & Conditioning Room Supervisor at Barry University, where they supervised student athletes and oversaw desk staff. Mark-Anthony then worked as a Personal Fitness Trainer at The Training Zone, guiding clients of various ages through exercise prescriptions and advising them on healthy lifestyles.
Following this, Mark-Anthony joined the US Navy as an Afloat Fitness Director, where they promoted the health and fitness of officers and sailors. Mark-Anthony managed multiple facilities and equipment, and provided guidance to help sailors meet Navy physical fitness standards.
After their military service, Mark-Anthony served as the Wellness Director at Miami Dade College, overseeing operations at the campus Wellness Center and implementing promotional strategies that significantly increased enrollment. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Faculty Member, educating students about health and wellness through college courses.
In 2008, Mark-Anthony became the Corporate Wellness Manager at Raytheon, where they developed and implemented health and fitness programming for a large worksite population. Mark-Anthony also organized wellness activities such as fairs, screenings, seminars, and weight management programs to boost engagement and awareness.
From 2014 to 2017, Mark-Anthony worked as the Employee Wellness Coordinator at St. Petersburg College, where they implemented and managed wellness programs across multiple campuses. Mark-Anthony coordinated various wellness events and managed department budgets.
Most recently, Mark-Anthony served as a Wellness Program Manager at HealthSource Solutions, LLC, specifically at The Mosaic Company. In this role, they built a culture of wellness by leading training processes, developing strategies, and implementing onsite wellness programming across multiple locations. Mark-Anthony provided expertise, standardized best practices, and empowered employees to improve safety, health, and well-being.

Mark-Anthony Bailey's education history begins in 1995 when they obtained a Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Champlain College. Mark-Anthony then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Exercise Science from Barry University between 1997 and 2002.
In 2008, Mark-Anthony pursued further education and earned a Graduate Certificate in Physical Education, Health Education & Coaching from Boston University, which they completed in 2009.
Recently, Mark-Anthony has been focused on advancing their knowledge in the field of exercise science and health promotion. Mark-Anthony pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained between 2022 and 2025.
In addition to their formal education, Mark-Anthony has also obtained several certifications. These include the Exercise is Medicine Credential from the American College of Sports Medicine in 2014, the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2004, and the Certification for Adult and Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in 2022.
Mark-Anthony has also pursued various professional development opportunities, earning certificates in diverse areas. These include the Post-Crisis Leadership Certificate and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
