Evan McEwing

Evan McEwing is a seasoned nursing and healthcare education professional with extensive experience in content development, research, and medical simulation. Currently serving as Senior Director of Content Development and Research at HealthStream, Evan previously held various roles at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies, where responsibilities included developing and implementing simulation curricula, supporting faculty with educational design, and maintaining a robust learning environment. Earlier positions include Project Director at Harvard School of Public Health, where oversight of an NIH-sponsored study focused on healthcare worker safety was key, as well as roles in clinical project management, nursing education, and school health services across multiple institutions. Evan holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
