Kannan Iyer

Kannan Iyer has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Kannan started their career at i-flex solutions in 1997, where they took on multiple roles including Product Management, Financial Analytics implementation, Development, Configuration, and Software Process Management. During this time, they successfully delivered and released the Enterprise Financial Performance analytics for Banks and FIs.

After i-flex solutions, Kannan worked as a Product Manager at Digital Harbor, where they were responsible for shipping one of the industry's first AML Case management web app.

Kannan then moved on to Oracle, where they served as a Product Marketing Manager for Small and Medium Businesses in the Oracle Technology division. Kannan helped set up a unit that focused on selling Oracle technology to small and midsize businesses across Europe.

At MindTree, Kannan worked as the Director of GTM and Strategy Development. Kannan was responsible for Go-To-Market strategy planning and execution, competitive analysis, market analysis, customer analysis, and monitoring technology trends. Kannan contributed to the growth of the product engineering space at MindTree.

Kannan then joined Nokia as the Lead Product Manager for MS Office and MS Lync apps for Symbian. Kannan was involved in global product delivery, working with design and engineering teams in Bangalore, Boston, Finland, Hyderabad, and Redmond.

After Nokia, Kannan worked as the Head of Product and Platforms, Digital Experiences at Sasken, where they led the Enterprise Mobility and Digital Solutions business unit. Kannan focused on Services Portfolio Management, creating and shipping digital solutions, and leading the design team.

Kannan then joined Capita Plc as the Product and Services Portfolio Director for Enterprise Mobility and Future of Work. Kannan'sresponsibilities included portfolio management, business case ownership, enterprise mobility strategy, and digital transformation for Capita customers. Kannan successfully shipped EMM as a service on Capita's private cloud, generating significant revenue.

Before their current role, Kannan worked as a Product Mentor at Kiba, an award-winning imaging startup, and as an Advisor/Mentor at an IoT/Mobility startup (Stealth).

Currently, Kannan serves as the Product Lead for Virtual Care/Telemedicine at HealthTap. Kannan is responsible for leading the virtual care product, driving consult growth, ensuring patient and doctor satisfaction, and improving operational efficiencies. Kannan has also played a key role in enabling the launch of Bupa Touch apps in 32 countries through HealthTap's partnership.

Kannan Iyer completed their education in a chronological manner. Kannan attended Nalanda Public School in Bhopal from 1985 to 1992, where they obtained a High School degree with a focus on Math and Science. Following this, they enrolled at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka from 1993 to 1997, earning a Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Finally, from 2000 to 2003, Kannan attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree focused on Corporate Strategy, Product management, Technology Management, Creativity and Innovation.
