Les Popiolek

Les Popiolek is the CEO of Valify & Valify Solutions Group at HealthTrust. Les has held this position since July of 2017.

Prior to their current role, Les served as the Chief Operating Officer at Valify from July 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they led a team of 65 sourcing experts who were responsible for negotiating contracts for medical and surgical products totaling $7.5 billion.

Les has also served as the Senior Vice President of Group Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing at MedAssets from November 2010 to May 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing all strategic sourcing aspects for national, regional, and custom contract portfolios totaling $35 billion in annual customer spend. Les also successfully expanded Broadlane’s contract base by 20% by implementing industry leading sourcing strategies.

Before their time at MedAssets, Les served as the Manager of Health Care Supply Chain at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from March 2002 to September 2003. Les then served as Broadlane’s Chief Technology Officer from September 2003 to December 2010.

Les Popiolek has a finance degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and is currently working in the field of economics.
