Healthy Land & Water
Chelsea Kluske is an accomplished Senior Scientist at Healthy Land & Water since July 2022, with prior experience as an Environmental Scientist at SMEC and a Wildlife Officer specializing in koala monitoring and habitat restoration with the Department of Environment and Science from April 2017 to July 2022. Kluske's work in the Koala Management Program involved monitoring koala densities and habitat conditions in South-East Queensland, while the Habitat Restoration Program focused on rehabilitating significant koala habitats and regional ecosystems under the Nature Conservation Act 1992. Earlier in the career, Kluske participated in a full-time Green Army traineeship at Conservation Volunteers Australia, gaining expertise in land restoration, weed control, and conservation management. Kluske holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology from Griffith University, obtained in 2015.
