Heard Museum
Lucia Leigh Laughlin, Ed.M., currently serves as the Director of Engagement & Learning Programs at the Heard Museum, where responsibilities include developing programming for youth and families and creating educational resources. Previously, Lucia held positions at Holland Hall School as a Substitute Teacher and at VIPKid as an Independent Contractor, teaching English to children in China. As an Art Teacher at YES Prep Public Schools, Lucia was involved in curriculum development, management of a teaching team, and student leadership initiatives. Lucia began a career in education as a National Teaching Fellow with Citizen Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.

The Heard Museum is a private, nonprofit institution whose mission is to educate visitors and promote greater public understanding of the arts, heritage and life ways of the indigenous peoples of the Americas, with an emphasis on American Indian tribes and other cultures of the Southwest.
