Andrea Canevari

Andrea Canevari has extensive work experience as an educator, having held roles as an Elementary School Teacher at both the DoDEA and Stafford County Public Schools, a Grade 3 Teacher at Van Avery Prep, and a Long Term Substitute Teacher at DoDEA. Andrea has also worked as an Office Assistant at Food Lion and as an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. Most recently, they worked as a Chief Executive Assistant at Squared Away and is currently in the same position at Heard. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated an ability to plan effectively, build strong relationships, and manage day-to-day activities while keeping the client's best interests in mind.

Andrea Canevari has a diverse education history that dates back to 2000 when they attended Radford University, majoring in medical technology. In 2003, they earned an Associate of Arts degree from the College of The Albemarle. Later in 2005, they attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. In 2010, Andrea received their Master's degree in Education (MAED) from Ashford University, followed by further professional development. In 2019, they acquired a teaching position at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) and in 2022 obtained their California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. In the same year, they also attended UC San Diego Extended Studies to specialize in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented. Andrea went on to enroll in a Project Management program at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) in 2022. Andrea also has additional certifications in Project Management, CPR/AED/First Aid, and Gifted Education.
