Gwen Mostyn

Gwen Mostyn has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Gwen started their career as an Editorial Assistant at IHS Jane's in 1997. In 1998, they worked as a Technical Author at Mutant Technology, where they provided documentation and administrative support for a dot.com start-up.

In 1998, Gwen began their journey in the publishing industry at Time Inc. Gwen'sroles at Time Inc. included Production Coordinator for TIME, Assistant Production Manager for TIME and InStyle, Production Manager for InStyle, and Production Manager for TIME and Fortune. Gwen supported the launch of InStyle in the UK and had special responsibility for the coordination of special issues.

From 2003 to 2012, Gwen worked at Hearst Magazines. Gwen served as the Production Controller for Company and Zest, Assistant Production Manager for Good Housekeeping, and later as the Production Manager, overseeing the production of two monthly magazines.

Since 2013, Gwen has been associated with Hearst UK. Gwen started as a Senior Sub-Editor before being promoted to Deputy Chief Sub-Editor and eventually Chief Sub-Editor.

Throughout their career, Gwen has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage production processes in tight deadlines and budget constraints.

Gwen Mostyn obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Leeds in 1996. Gwen then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Publishing at West Herts College from 1996 to 1997.
