Bassem Farag

Bassem Farag is a skilled professional with extensive experience in battery systems development and engineering. Currently serving as Section Lead - Battery Systems and Battery Management Systems Engineer at Heart Aerospace, Bassem focuses on creating advanced battery solutions to mitigate aviation emissions. As the Founder and CEO of LiCore Innovations AB, Bassem offers consulting services for lithium-ion battery pack development. Previous roles include Software Architect at BorgWarner, Functional Safety Engineer at AGREAT and Volvo Cars, and Functional Safety Engineer at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Bassem also has a background in Battery Management Systems development at Northvolt and experience as a Networks and Systems Engineer at Navy Information Systems. Bassem holds a Master’s degree in Embedded Systems from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Electronics from Alexandria University.
