Senior Environmental Control System Engineer at Heart Aerospace

Fernando Stancato is a seasoned engineer specializing in environmental control systems and thermal engineering within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Control System Engineer at Heart Aerospace since November 2021, Fernando previously held the position of Senior Thermal Engineer at Rimac Automobili d.o.o. from December 2020 to November 2021. During a significant tenure at Embraer from August 2006 to September 2020, Fernando contributed to various projects, including the GRIPEN SAAB F jet fighter and led the Boeing-Embraer BEST AGE project, which studied the aging effects on passengers and crew. With expertise in CFD evaluations and cabin comfort integration, Fernando has taken part in R&D collaborations involving Brazilian universities and governmental funding. Fernando holds a PhD in Engineering, an MSc in Engineering, and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering, all from Escola Politécnica da USP.
