Bhawna Jha M.D.

Bhawna Jha MD, MRCP, MBA serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Heart City Health since October 2023 and is an NEJM Catalyst Insights Council Member with NEJM Group since July 2024. Jha holds a position on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas and is an Adjunct Faculty and Medical Director at UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. With a background in innovating value-driven care delivery models that emphasize patient outcomes and cost containment, Jha possesses a strong understanding of financial models and risk arrangements between payors and healthcare organizations. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Pain Physician Lead at APC and Physician Advisor at Anthem subsidiary - AIM specialty. Jha was also the President of ARK Spine from August 2014 to August 2017. Academically, Jha holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and an MRCP from the University of Cambridge, alongside board certification in Pain Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine.
